Responsibilities:

Strong development skills
Triage application performance issues
Automate repeated manual function by bring in new tools
Develop new application functionalities as required for upcoming project using Java, Spring boot, Spring Cloud, Oracle
Ensure the newly developed components are inline with Bank standards
Ensure the newly developed components are documented in confluence to teams to self support them
Automate areas which are manual in nature to save time on repeat request/issues

Diploma / Degree in IT / Computer Engineering or equivalent
15+ years experience
Strong core Java skills
Strong Spring framework skills
Strong SpringBoot experience
Strong experience developing Microservice with OpenAPI
Good understand of ORM libraries
Inquisitive to learn new technologies
Strong knowledge of Oracle
Knowledge of SQL tuning skills (Good to have)
Strong Unix skills
Good working experience on SSO ( integration to SSO, HSM etc) added advantage
Good working knowledge of any application servers
Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines
Own assigned problems and drive them to closure
Strong analytical skills
Go-getter
Prior experience in Banking applications ( customer facing – client onboarding or middleware payment processing systems) is a plus
