F&B TALENT ACQUISITION [Job Code 190724R]

Responsibilities:

  • Source for Talent
    • Manage various sourcing approaches and tools, including social media platforms and sites
    • Determine implications of organisational current and future needs on hiring requirements
    • Implement various outreach plans for different target talent pools
    • Attend recruitment events to solicit interest from external talent pools
    • Develop hiring collaterals based on organisation’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP)
    • Manage external stakeholders and vendors involved in the sourcing and attraction of talent
    • Identify opportunities to convert potential employees into new hires
    • Propose improvements to the sourcing processes
    • Analyse data on the quality of new hires and effectiveness of recruitment approaches
  • Recruit Candidates
    • Propose assessment tools to be used for selection
    • Conduct background checks of job applicants to identify any critical issues
    • Shortlist candidates for hiring managers based on assessment results
    • Analyse assessment effectiveness
    • Conduct reference document authenticity checks on the candidates
    • Communicate employment offers to candidates
    • Negotiate terms and conditions of offer to selected candidates within standard operating guidelines
  • Facilitate Onboarding for New Hires
    • Advise on work permits, visa and documentation required for international workforce
    • Develop new hires information packs for new employees
    • Develop content and materials for new hire orientation sessions
    • Deliver orientation briefings for new hires
    • Verify access set up for new hires

Requirements:

  • Degree in HR, Business Management or equivalent with at least 5 years of recruitment experience preferably in F&B or hospitality industry
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end recruitment process
  • Knowledge of EVP and how to create positive job application experiences
  • Knowledge of hiring principles and labour law / tax implications and other considerations for international hires
  • People skills with proactive attitude, able to work independently and yet team-oriented player
  • Highly adaptable with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
