HVAC SALES ENGINEER [Job Code 190606C]

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly and annually sales target
  • Identify, qualify and secure business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies
  • Build new business relationships with potential clients
  • Retain and grow existing accounts
  • Review sales performance
  • Understand client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions; responding to client requested for proposals (RFPs)
  • Create informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows and conferences
  • Cold calling; make multiple outbound calls to potential clients; closing sales and working with client through closing process
  • Conduct market research (e.g. Competitors’ Analysis, Potential Services, etc)
  • Responsible for tender presentation/introduction of company’s services to the potential client
  • Prepare of Pre-Tender Executive summary information and tender document for submission
  • Prepare presentation slides for tender interviews
  • Regional travel for securing of new businesses and product testing
  • Any other Business Development related works that are delegated as and when required
  • Generate weekly and annual sales report

Requirements:

  • Degree preferred in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in CRAC unit, Air conditioning, Water Detection System and related field is required for this position
  • Ability to develop good relationship with current and potential clients
  • Self-motivated and passionate with positive attitude
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good with figures and updated with the latest costs of materials
  • Able to work independently
  • Must possess initiative, integrity and be able to manage work pressures
  • Able to perform multi tasks
