HVAC SALES ENGINEER [Job Code 190606C]
Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly and annually sales target
- Identify, qualify and secure business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies
- Build new business relationships with potential clients
- Retain and grow existing accounts
- Review sales performance
- Understand client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions; responding to client requested for proposals (RFPs)
- Create informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows and conferences
- Cold calling; make multiple outbound calls to potential clients; closing sales and working with client through closing process
- Conduct market research (e.g. Competitors’ Analysis, Potential Services, etc)
- Responsible for tender presentation/introduction of company’s services to the potential client
- Prepare of Pre-Tender Executive summary information and tender document for submission
- Prepare presentation slides for tender interviews
- Regional travel for securing of new businesses and product testing
- Any other Business Development related works that are delegated as and when required
- Generate weekly and annual sales report
Requirements:
- Degree preferred in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in CRAC unit, Air conditioning, Water Detection System and related field is required for this position
- Ability to develop good relationship with current and potential clients
- Self-motivated and passionate with positive attitude
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Good with figures and updated with the latest costs of materials
- Able to work independently
- Must possess initiative, integrity and be able to manage work pressures
- Able to perform multi tasks
