PROJECT MANAGER [Job Code 2109453P]

Responsibilities:

1. Project Management

  • Produce detailed gantt chart, schedule, project plan for tracking and communication
  • Time, cost, resource estimating and budgeting
  • Detailed planning of resource assignment and resource histogram
  • Assessment of appropriate skill sets and to secure resource allocation within budget
  • Conduct interviews to recruit project team members
  • Track and monitor progress, and alert relevant stakeholders of potential slippage or roadblocks
  • Perform “what-if” analysis for different scenarios to achieve desired project outcome
  • Generate timely management reporting appropriate for different levels of audience
  • Control budget and work within timeline
  • Effective management of scope, time, cost, quality, risk, resource and procurement
  • Expert use of various tools to effectively manage project schedule and communicate to stakeholders and management
  • Conduct performance reviews / appraisal for team members
  • Account receivable management – track payment milestones and ensure timely invoicing
  • Assist finance in AR aging collection
  • Estimate effort for scope of work and generate work breakdown structures
  • Produce quotation to clients for work to be performed
  • Execute the plan with diligence
  • Adhere to PMO standards
  • Work closely with 3rd party vendors to coordinate schedule and delivery

2. Account Management

  • Establish rapport with all levels within client organization, forge long term customer relationships and grow the accounts
  • Identify opportunities and pursue them
  • Understand the client’s business and business needs and able to identify and propose viable solution offerings
  • Contact point for voice of customer

3. Pre-sales Engagement

  • Assist in responding to RFP and tender document
  • Assist in pre-sales by participating in solutioning, proof of concept, demonstration and presentation
  • Perform effort estimation to reasonably degree of accuracy and expediency without compromising deal or gross margin
  • Perform resource loading estimation

Requirements:

  • Degree in IT / Computer Engineer or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 years proven experience in project management and has handled end-to-end project implementations
  • Minimum 12 years experience in IT industry and specifically in SDLC environment with proven track record of successfully completing projects to customer satisfaction.
  • Experience in managing projects in Payments, AML and other banking functions preferred
  • Experienced in working in Vendor environment while directly managing the technical teams, Business Analysts Team and QA Team as well as the Architect.
  • Candidates with PMP certification will be favorably considered
  • Able to meet deadlines, plan and control projects under his/her purview.
  • Experience in managing time, cost, resource estimating and budgeting. And, detailed planning of resource assignment and resource histogram
  • Must have technical expertise in payments domain and at least one programming language
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skill
