PLANNER [Job Code 2508109A]
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, updating, and maintenance of project schedules under the supervision of senior planners or schedulers.
- Input schedule data into scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Work with project teams to gather schedule information on design, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
- Help monitor project progress and update timelines accordingly.
- Support the generation of weekly and monthly schedule reports and look-ahead plans.
- Maintain schedule documentation and ensure activity coding and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) are properly applied.
- Track progress of subcontractor activities and coordinate updates to the master schedule.
- Attend internal meetings and take notes for action items and scheduling updates.
- Support analysis of schedule delays and assist in the development of recovery plans.
- Apply basic scheduling concepts, including critical path, float, and dependencies.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma with at least 1 year of experience in project scheduling/planning support, preferably in data centre or critical environment.
- Knowledge of scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Familiarity with construction sequences and project lifecycles.
- Certification in workplace safety (eg. WSQ, WSH) preferred.
- Positive proactive attitude and ethical behaviour.
- Team player with ability to work independently and resolve challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
