ENGINEER/SENIOR ENGINEER (NOC) [Job Code 2104420P]

Responsibilities:

Design, develop and deploy various infrastructure, network and application monitoring solutions
Develop dashboards for IT operations, production support, app/dev teams, as well as executives
Develop functional procedure and system documentation as needed
Analyse and identify thresholds to establish meaningful alerts
Perform configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting of monitoring platforms
Work with infrastructure teams to establish baseline monitoring and thresholds for core technologies
Work with IT teams to create custom alerts for critical services
Work with various teams to understand transactions that need to be monitored and develop solutions to meet those requirements

Diploma / Degree in IT / Computer Engineering or equivalent
3 years of experience in IT Support & Monitoring
Motivated self-starter capable of working on individual tasks as well as team-oriented tasks
Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment
Ability to prioritize competing tasks and escalate as needed
Skilled in problem solving and learning new technologies
Familiarity with ITSM and ITOM preferred
Knowledge in Windows/Unix/AIX/Linux/Solaris Server, Networking (Cisco), VOIP, IIS, Active Directory, Virtualization will be beneficial on the job.
