CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE SOLUTIONING & PROVISIONING (CISP) LEAD [Job Code 170304S]

Responsibilities:

  • Understand engineering design and operational aspect of each building system
  • Plan, implement, coordinate and supervise all MEP provisioning programs for the critical facilities environment
  • Lead all development and provisioning projects, direct and oversee consultants (Architects, Engineers etc.), contractors and equipment vendors
  • Preparation of RFP, evaluation of proposals submitted and make recommendation to the management regarding vendors selection
  • Act as primary customer contact for the development of customized data centre development projects. This include leading consultant and contractor team, preparing detailed development of work program, budget and schedule documents to support all development and provisioning projects
  • Ensure projects are complete and handover on time, and within allocated budget
  • Communicate status of projects to both internal and external stakeholders on an adhoc or formal basis.
  • Prepare monthly project reports on budget, schedule and scope objectives of assigned projects
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships (Contractors, consultants, equipment vendors) to provide cost effective services for all projects
  • Maintain ongoing communication with tenants, customers and vendors where applicable
  • Lead and coordinate development of and/or maintain as-built drawings
  • Lead and coordinate capacity planning for the building services such as space, power, cooling and the various building soft services and tenant needs
  • Respond quickly to emergency situations (i.e. fire, evacuation, equipment failure etc.) and customer concerns
  • Lead and support all FM/ data centre related certification and ensure compliance at all times
  • Support customer audit request and support customer RFP/RFQ requests
  • Carry out any other duties as and when assigned by the management

Requirements:

Must Have:

  • Possess a Diploma or Degree in Project Management, Facilities Management, Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or in related field with proven track records
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experiences in managing critical facilities development or projects in a Data Centre environment
  • Experience in project management in a Data Centre environment
  • Good Knowledge in MEP operations and building facilities related systems, such as Switchgears, UPS, Generators, DRUPS, Transformer, Chillers, CRAUs, Fire Protection, raised floor system, cooling containment, etc
  • Willing to work staggered office hours or during non-office hours to manage and coordinate major FM related and provisioning activities
  • Excellent team player in cross-functional environment

Good To Have:

  • More than 5 years of working experience in managing provisioning projects of a 24 x 7 critical data centre facilities
  • Data Centre and Facilities Management related certifications, such as CDCP, CDCS, CDCE, CDCMP, DCS in Operations etc
  • Familiar with certification standards, such as LEED, BCA-IDA Green Mark, Uptime, MAS TVRA, ISO 20000, ISO 27001, SS507, SS564 etc
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese to communicate with mandarin speaking clients
