ASSISTANT MANAGER -HUMAN RESOURCES (JB/KL) [Job Code 2604106A]
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process (sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management).
- Liaise with hiring managers on manpower planning and hiring requirements.
- Manage onboarding and orientation programmes.
- Payroll & Compensation
- Oversee monthly payroll processing and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure statutory compliance including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB/MTD, HRD Corp, etc.
- Manage employee benefits, allowances, claims, and insurance matters.
- Handle final salary computation including resignation, termination, and payment in lieu.
- Employee Relations & Industrial Relations
- Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Conduct domestic inquiries where required.
- Ensure compliance with Employment Act and relevant labour regulations.
- Performance Management
- Coordinate performance appraisal cycles.
- Support managers in performance evaluation and confirmation processes.
- Monitor probation reviews and confirmation status.
- Manage employee records and ensure PDPA compliance.
- Prepare HR reports, manpower statistics, and management reports.
- Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Liaise with government bodies (e.g., JTK, KWSP, PERKESO, HRD Corp).
- Support licence renewals and regulatory submissions where required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience with exposure to full spectrum HR functions.
- Strong knowledge of Employment Act and statutory regulations.
- Experience handling payroll and HR systems.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
- Exposure to CIDB, HRD Corp, foreign worker management (an added advantage).
