ACCOUNT MANAGER/SALES ENGINEER [Job Code 2104417C]

Responsibilities:

  • Generate sales proposal and quotation
  • Achieve sales target
  • Identifying, qualifying and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies
  • Building and point of contact for new business relationships with potential clients
  • Manage, retain and grow existing customers
  • Manage customer expectation and resolve sales and project conflicts
  • Periodic review of sales performance
  • Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions; responding to client requested for proposals (RFPs)
  • Creating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows and conferences
  • Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients; closing sales and working with client through closing process
  • Conduct market research (e.g. Competitors’ Analysis, Potential Services, etc)
  • Responsible for tender presentation/introduction of company services to the potential client
  • Preparation of Pre-Tender Executive summary information and tender document for submission
  • Prepare presentation slides for tender interviews
  • Regional travel for securing of new businesses and product testing
  • Any other Business Development related works that are delegated as and when required
  • Generate monthly and annual sales report
  • Coordination with internal departments for project delivery and execution

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in CRAC/ HVAC or mechanical sector
  • Knowledge and network of different project stakeholder
  • Ability to develop good relationship with current and potential clients
  • Self-motivated and passionate with positive attitude
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • A teamplayer and able to work independently
  • Must possess initiative, integrity and be able to manage work pressures
  • Able to perform multi tasks
  • Preferable candidate with network
  • Able to travel
