ENGINEER/SENIOR ENGINEER (SYSTEM) (IT) [Job Code 07009P]

Responsibilities:

• Respond to support request raised by customer within the agreed SLA
• Planning and undertaking over projects when completed
• Conduct routine system check
• Perform basic / advance troubleshooting for all hardware, software network and application issues
• Prepare and execute SOW for system update
• Escalate and follow up with external vendors ensuring case resolved in within KPI
• Prepare standard documentation E.g. SOW, incident report, troubleshooting and installation guides, inventory etc
• Able to work 24×7 basis when necessary

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in relevant discipline
• Minimum 3-5 Years of relevant working experience
• Able to work independently and as a team
• Strong in Linux (RedHat) domain
• Knowledge in Data base (Oracle RAC, SQL Server), Networking (Dell, Cisco), Firewall (Fortinet)
• Knowledge in Big Data technologies on Hadoop (HDFS, ZooKeeper), Cloudera, Hue, Apache, Elastic Search etc with implementation and system maintenance experience
• Working experience in Virtualisation is an advantage
