PROJECT MANAGER (DATA CENTRE CONSTRUCTION) -JB/KL [Job Code 2403108A]

Responsibilities:

Manage project execution for green and/or brown field projects
Lead project team including engineers and contractors
Oversee day to day construction oversight to ensure the project is carried out per project specifications and EHS requirement, and is on schedule and cost efficient per approved budget.
Provide timely and accurate reporting of project progress and expenditure to management
Ensure Environment, Safety and Occupational Health implementation on site
Troubleshoot issues during design & construction phase
Ensure that content of all submission is aligned to Company & client’s requirement
Evaluate on-site installation quality & rectify problems
Participate in site testing and commissioning process
Serve as a lead to provide advice & guidance during handover
Maintain tracker sheet on defects & assign manpower for defect clearance

Degree/Diploma with at least 7 years’ experience in project / engineering / construction management. Experience in green and/or brown field data centre projects preferred.
Ability in reading design and construction drawings for all fields (Architectural, Structural, M&E, etc.)
Knowledgeable in various M&E critical systems (e.g. UPS, Generator, Chiller, Cooling Tower) requirement including testing and commissioning (i.e. FAT, SAT, IST)
Positive proactive attitude and ethical behaviour.
Experience in Microsoft Office i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge in project management tools, solutions, and techniques highly desirable.
Familiarity with Authority Requirement and Code of Practice preferred

Good leadership and team player with ability to work independently and resolve challenges in a fast-paced environment.
