COMMISSIONING MANAGER, REGIONAL [Job Code 2206117A]
Responsibilities:
- Review all project documents including design drawings, equipment submittal, specifications, and Quality Control plan and understand project requirements pertaining to start-up and commissioning.
- Review Project “Equipment Tracking Log” which serves as the Inspection and Test Plan for all major MEP equipment. Oversee and ensure the required inspections and tests are carried out in accordance with the approved plan.
- Assist in the development of detailed L1, L2 & L3 (Start-Up) micro schedule that includes all inspections, energization, start-up, and testing required to reach “L4 Readiness”.
- Review and verification that subcontractor QA/QC documentation is completed in accordance with project requirements and QA/QC plan. Ensure all previous documentation is completed on predecessor task prior to proceeding to next phase (i.e. verify all L2 documentation is complete prior to starting L3).
- Perform in-depth review of subcontractor QC forms to verify accuracy and completeness of forms.
- Identify any deficiencies and follow-up with subcontractors for resolution.
- Conduct detailed review of owner’s Cx Agent L4 schedule and ensure subcontractor and vendor resources are scheduled to support testing.
- Review Cx Agent’s load bank plan and ensure electrical contractor has proper staff and equipment to meet testing requirements.
- Review and approval of critical start-up procedures such as energization and testing/flushing plans.
- Participate in “Energy Marshall” program which governs how LOTO, equipment energizations, and operation of mechanical systems will be managed. Ensure electrical and mechanical trade partners follow the proper procedures and maintain safety requirement during inspection, energization, start-up, and equipment testing.
- Work closely with vendors, including attendance of factory witness tests, scheduling vendor technicians for startup, commissioning, and other project requirements.
- Prepare commissioning budgets including but not limited to; develop load bank plan, review labor resources both internally as well as subcontractors, review subcontractor commissioning procedures and budgets, etc., compiling all into an overall commissioning budget.
- Participate is commissioning script writing & review process.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in commissioning activities in green and/or brown field data center projects.
- Bachelor degree/Diploma in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or Architecture.
- Possess good leadership, team player and good problem-solving skills
- Possess good communication skills in English and with attention to detail
- Good communication in English and negotiation skills
- Good financial knowledge to oversee project cost control and management
- Work in the APAC region (Jakarta, Bangkok) for a period of 6 – 12 months.
