PRE SALES/SALES ENGINEER [Job Code 2104417C]
Responsibilities:
- Generate sales proposal and quotation
- Achieve sales target
- Identifying, qualifying and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies
- Building and point of contact for new business relationships with potential clients
- Manage, retain and grow existing customers
- Manage customer expectation and resolve sales and project conflicts
- Periodic review of sales performance
- Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions; responding to client requested for proposals (RFPs)
- Creating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows and conferences
- Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients; closing sales and working with client through closing process
- Conduct market research (e.g. Competitors’ Analysis, Potential Services, etc)
- Responsible for tender presentation/introduction of company services to the potential client
- Preparation of Pre-Tender Executive summary information and tender document for submission
- Prepare presentation slides for tender interviews
- Regional travel for securing of new businesses and product testing
- Any other Business Development related works that are delegated as and when required
- Generate monthly and annual sales report
- Coordination with internal departments for project delivery and execution
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in CRAC/ HVAC or mechanical sector
- Knowledge and network of different project stakeholder
- Ability to develop good relationship with current and potential clients
- Self-motivated and passionate with positive attitude
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- A teamplayer and able to work independently
- Must possess initiative, integrity and be able to manage work pressures
- Able to perform multi tasks
- Preferable candidate with network
- Able to travel
